Mission & Goals
Breakthrough Energy is a network of programs and entities, including Breakthrough Energy Foundation, Breakthrough Energy Catalyst Foundation, and Breakthrough Energy Ventures, dedicated to helping humanity avoid the most devasting impacts of climate change. Through philanthropic programs, investment funds, policy advocacy, and other activities, we’re committed to scaling the technologies we need to reach net-zero emissions by 2050. Bilateral meetings with the DGs research, energy, move, Grow, and climate staff, and respective cabinets, on issues related to research and innovation, with a particular focus on climate and energy-related innovation support programs, and Green Deal and Clean Industrial Deal policy files.
