Branchehuset is a joint federation for the Danish Sanitary, Heating, Steel and Metal Wholesale Trade( Rørforeningen, Stålforeningen and Metalforeningen)
EU Legislative Interests
Trade: Antidumping, steel safeguard, sanctions Energy and climate policies: CBAM, ETS, energy efficiency, Environmental policies: REACH, waste management, drinking water, pfas, circular economy, Sustainable construction: CPR, ecodesign, product safety, digitalisation Sustainability reporting; EU taxonomy, CSRD, CSDDD, EUDR
Communication Activities
Branchehuset has participated in a few hearings (have your say) etc. on the matters above and we regulary participate in public hearings of the Danish Government. Recent comments include topics such as digital product passport, CBAM, steel safeguard. We have not participated or had meetings with the institutions in the past but would like to upscale participation in the future
