Mission & Goals
Bracell is a Brazilian-based company, world-leading producer of kraft and dissolving pulp. Our products are made from eucalyptus pulp, a natural, biodegradable polymer produced from pulpwood sourced from certified eucalyptus plantations. Bracell’s pulp products are used in dozens of items, such as: Printing and writing papers, Tissue paper, Packaging paper, among others. From our inaugural operations in Bahia, Northeastern Brazil, established in 2003, we have since expanded into São Paulo, in 2018. Our industrial sites use processes and technologies that create positive environmental value and were developed in line with the Best Available Techniques (BAT) Reference Document for the Production of Pulp and Paper. The topic of interest in EU legislation, proposals, and policies is related to Bracell's current and future product portfolio concerning the commercialization of wood-based products, such as pulp and paper. Specifically, our current objective is to explain our forest activities and discuss with the EU Commission regarding the Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 on Deforestation-Free Products.
