Mission & Goals
Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME) is the operator of all stock Markets and financial systems in Spain. BME has been a listed company from 2006 until 2020and is a SIX Group Company. In the last years it has become a reference in the sector in terms of solvency, efficiency and profitability. Our mission is to be the reference of the financial markets and systems in Spain, looking for the excellence in the quality of our services and the constant innovation in our markets and services. We also aim to create value to society and our shareholders. BME is also committed to be the benchmark of Spanish and Latin American companies through the Latibex market.

Inter alia: MiFID II / MiFIR, SIU/CMU, BMR, MAR, Sustainable Finance, Prospectus Regulation, SME Financing, CSD Regulation, AML, EMIR, Corporate Governance
Communication Activities
Cosignature and endorsement of formal positions related to the application of legislative initiatives affectig financial systems. Response to consultations and calls for input on the functioning of financial framework in the EU.
