Mission & Goals
Association Biom is a voluntary, non-governmental organization dedicated to nature conservation, promotion and popularization. Our goals are the following: - preservation and restoration of natural ecosystems (mainly focusing on birds, but also on other wild animals and their habitats), - building and nurturing a relationship between humans and nature, - ensuring harmonization of economic development and nature conservation by supporting the development of industries which promote the country’s natural heritage – our ancestors’ heritage that we must preserve for future generations.

Communication Activities
Fitness Check for EU Nature Directive – Biom was the focal point for civil society sector in Croatia. Biom was a CSO representative on the Biogeographic Seminar for Natura 2000 sites. As BirdLife partner, Biom participates to communication activities relate to the EU policies that are coordinated by BirdLife International and BirdLife European and Central Asia regional office.
