Mission & Goals
The Biodynamic Federation Demeter International is an umbrella organisation of 55 member organisations active in 41 countries worldwide dedicated to biodynamic agriculture, a holistic, ecological and ethical approach of farming. It was founded four years ago to unite, promote, and support a worldwide sustainable agricultural impulse, which celebrated its centenary in 2024. The Federation is the only organisation that has built up a certification for biodynamic farming worldwide labelled with the Demeter brand. This brand is used by more than 7,000 certified farms in 62 countries worldwide.
