Mission & Goals
BBMRI-ERIC is the European Research Infrastructure for biobanking and biomolecular resources, supporting health and life sciences research across 25 Member and Observer countries and IARC/WHO. With 26 National Nodes, approx. 500 biobanks, and affiliated partners, BBMRI-ERIC provides a unique framework for enabling responsible access to high-quality biological samples, data, and biomolecular resources. As a distributed Research Infrastructure, it fosters collaboration, advances innovative methodologies, and enhances interoperability across countries.
