Mission & Goals

Since 2008, BIO.NRW is the official biotechnology network of the federal state North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). We catalyse the sustainable development of the state’s biotech sector by building on NRW’s strengths with a focus on pharmaceutical biotechnology. BIO.NRW is actively supporting the implementation of life science technologies, which are key to answering the most challenging tasks of our society. Our services include: Technology Transfer support - events, congresses, workshops, expert panels Promoting the dialogue between business, research, investors, and policy-makers to activate cooperation. Promoting the dialogue and information of the broad public in NRW regarding the advancements, achievements and developments in biotech and life science.
