Mission & Goals

The association was founded on September 20, 2006 at the initiative of the Alūksne District Council, with the agreement of the then local governments, NGO representatives and entrepreneurs on the creation of such an organization. The aim of the association: to promote the sustainable development of the territory and improve the quality of life of residents. The tasks of the association: using the principles of public participation, to develop and implement a strategy for sustainable development; to promote the initiative of residents and local communities aimed at improving the quality of life and environmental development; to coordinate and attract financial, material and other resources to achieve the goals of the Partnership.
