Mission & Goals
BFS SozialFinanz is a financial holding company specializing in the field of social economy that engages in the acquisition, holding, management and operational support of its subsidiaries and other affiliate companies. Its subsidiaries conduct the following business activities: banking services to institutional customers acting in the field of social economy and healthcare as well as analytical and consultancy services in the respective fields. Furthermore, the affiliated companies also provide various other services to welfare organizations. Essential characteristic of BFS is its commitment to its founders presenting the six main German welfare organizations. This strong commitment to social responsibility and values is reflected in BFS business strategy focusing on sustainable financing models. The group has a broad market presence all over Germany and runs a Brussels office as well. The EU-office monitors key developments in terms of social economy.
