Mission & Goals
As an independent consultancy led by an experienced strategic advisor and technical writer, our mission is to provide high-level expertise to international and multilateral institutions working at the intersection of global health, development, and policy. With over 15 years of experience supporting EU and UN agencies, we deliver expert advice in health governance and diplomacy, grounded in public health, equity, and evidence-based policymaking. We specialize in the production of strategic, impactful, and technically sound documents that shape international dialogue, support advocacy, and inform policy decisions. Our work spans policy analysis, program design, strategic foresight, and the development of operational frameworks across diverse global contexts. - EU Global Health Strategy (2022–2030) – including its implementation frameworks on health equity, pandemic preparedness, and health systems strengthening in partner countries. - European Health Union package – particularly the strengthening of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), the extended mandate of the European Medicines Agency (EMA), and the cross-border health threats regulation. - Regulation (EU) 2022/2371 on Serious Cross-Border Threats to Health – with a focus on inclusive preparedness and response strategies. - EU Action Plan on the Social Economy – where relevant to health equity, community-based care, and integration of vulnerable groups. - EU Strategic Framework for Equality, Inclusion and Participation of Roma (2020–2030) – focusing on access to healthcare and systemic inclusion in public health initiatives. - EU Gender Equality Strategy 2020–2025 – particularly in relation to sexual and reproductive health and rights and intersectional approaches to health. -European Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan – with emphasis on Principle 16 (Health care) and Principle 1 (Education, training and lifelong learning), especially as they relate to marginalized populations.
Communication Activities
- Authored and contributed to multiple policy briefs and technical reports for the European Parliament’s Research Service (EPRS), focusing on EU health governance, pandemic preparedness, equity, and cross-border health threats. - Delivered expert presentations at high-level EU forums, including closed-door expert panels and public hearings organized by the European Parliament, on topics such as health equity in EU global health strategy and lessons from COVID-19. - Supported UNICEF Brussels Office and UNICEF ECARO in shaping EU-facing narratives and policy recommendations regarding child health, Roma inclusion, and intersectional approaches to EU development programming. - Published thought pieces and op-eds in EU-focused outlets, amplifying the EU Global Health Strategy and the European Health Union, particularly from the perspective of underserved and minority populations. - Provided technical inputs to consultations on the EU Roma Framework and the EU Gender Equality Strategy, particularly on integrating public health and sexual and reproductive rights. Organized and led capacity-building webinars and briefings for EU stakeholders, civil society organizations, and youth advocates on navigating EU health policy mechanisms and influencing legislative processes.
