Mission & Goals
To organise, support, coordinate and represent the Member Firms of the BDO international organisation of audit and accounting firms and to represent their interests to policy makers.
EU Legislative Interests
EU audit legislation and legislation/regulations in the areas of corporate reporting, accounting, corporate governance, sustainability reporting and assurance, taxation, capital markets and other public policy issues impacting the BDO Member Firms.

Member Of
The BDO organisation is a member of the European Contact Group, a group of the six largest audit and accounting networks in Europe. It is also a member of the European Services Forum and the EU-ASEAN Business Council all of which have contact with EU institutions at various times throughout the year.
Organisation Members
BDO is an international network of public accounting, tax and advisory firms which perform professional services under the name of BDO. These firms have representation in 165 countries and territories, with c120,000 people working out of over 1,600 offices worldwide. Additional Information
Through its membership of the European Contact Group, BDO indirectly engages external public affairs consultancies on occasion to monitor developments in its interest areas. The BDO share of such costs is not material. BDO also engages consultancies to monitor policy developments on an ad-hoc basis.
