Mission & Goals

“Bangladesh Human Rights Council (Central Executive Committee) works to uphold fundamental human rights, promote justice, ensure accountability, and strengthen the protection mechanisms for vulnerable communities in Bangladesh. The organisation focuses on monitoring human rights violations, providing advocacy support, facilitating legal awareness, and engaging with national, regional, and international institutions to promote democratic values, human dignity, and rule of law. Our mandate includes policy advocacy, human rights reporting, community support, research, and cooperation with global organisations to strengthen transparency, equality, and fair treatment for all citizens. We actively collaborate with UN, EU, and global partners to advance human rights standards and build inclusive societies.”

EU Legislative Interests

The organisation follows EU policies related to human rights protection, fundamental freedoms, rule of law, anti-corruption, digital rights, justice reforms, child protection, gender equality, anti-trafficking, migration and asylum, environmental justice, and the protection of vulnerable communities. We monitor European Parliament resolutions, EU Human Rights Guidelines, EU Justice and Home Affairs policies, EU Charter of Fundamental Rights, and UN–EU cooperation mechanisms. Our activities focus on supporting EU initiatives aimed at strengthening transparency, accountability, democratic governance, freedom of expression, and legal protection for victims of human rights violations.”

Communication Activities

“The organisation participates in awareness campaigns, advocacy events, community workshops, social media communication, human rights documentation, research publications, and policy dialogues related to EU human rights priorities. We engage in reporting, online advocacy, webinars, stakeholder cooperation, and public communication aimed at promoting EU values, human dignity, and fundamental rights.”
