Mission & Goals

Bacchustech is an Estonia-based SME developing AI-driven sommelier and decision-support tools for wine retail, HoReCa and small wineries. Our purpose is to help consumers make informed, moderate and sustainable wine choices and to give smaller producers fair, data-driven access to digital sales channels and tourism flows. We combine viticulture expertise, data analytics and trustworthy AI to support EU agendas on digitalisation of agrifood, consumer protection and rural development in wine regions. Within the EU policy process we provide only evidence-based, non-partisan input, including aggregated and anonymised market insights and practical feedback from pilots with retailers, restaurants and vineyards.

Communication Activities

Our communication activities related to the above EU policies are limited to technical and informational outreach rather than public advocacy campaigns. They include: - presentations and panel discussions at wine and agrifood industry events on the practical impact of EU rules on AI, data use and online sales for small wineries, retailers and HoReCa operators; - articles, blog posts and newsletters explaining in accessible language how EU consumer protection, data protection and food information rules apply in digital wine services; - sharing aggregated, anonymised insights with policy-relevant stakeholders in the context of consultations or expert meetings. These activities are non-partisan, evidence-based and focused on helping market actors comply with EU legislation and use trustworthy AI and data practices. We do not conduct political advertising or grassroots mobilisation, do not offer gifts or hospitality, and adhere to the Transparency Register Code of Conduct, meeting-disclosure and data-protection rules.
