Mission & Goals
Awaze is a leading vacation rental management company operating across the UK and Europe, mainly in rural and coastal areas. We take a managed approach to the holiday lets sector, where we market properties on behalf of our owners, while also managing bookings, guest and owner communication, payments, and property management services such as cleaning and maintenance in some circumstances.
EU Legislative Interests
Currently, Awaze's primary engagement with representatives of the EU (European Commission) concerns the implementation of the EU Short-Term Rental (STR) Regulation and the EU VAT in the Digital Age (ViDA) Package, and consultation on the reform of the Tour Operators Margin Scheme and further measures regulating STRs under the proposed EU Affordable Housing Act. We also have an interest wider EU initiatives that relate to travel and tourism, such as the EU Sustainable Tourism Strategy, and the provision of online services to consumers in the EU, such as the Digital Services Act, the Digital Markets Act, and the proposed Digital Fairness Act
