Mission & Goals

Autonomous Systems Sp. z o.o. is a technology company developing and integrating automation and autonomy solutions for urban buses, with a focus on safe low-speed operations in controlled environments such as bus depots. Our activities include R&D of software and algorithms (perception, motion planning and control), vehicle integration, testing and validation in operational conditions, and cooperation with public transport stakeholders on safety requirements, interoperability, technical standards and regulatory conditions for connected and autonomous vehicles.

EU Legislative Interests

Our organisation’s interest representation and policy engagement focuses on the EU regulatory framework relevant to connected and autonomous vehicles and the digital vehicle stack, in particular: Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 laying down harmonised rules on artificial intelligence (Artificial Intelligence Act). Regulation (EU) 2019/2144 on type-approval requirements for motor vehicles and their trailers, and on general vehicle safety. Regulation (EU) 2018/858 on the approval and market surveillance of motor vehicles and their trailers, and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles. Directive (EU) 2023/2661 amending Directive 2010/40/EU on the framework for the deployment of Intelligent Transport Systems in the field of road transport and for interfaces with other modes of transport. Regulation (EU) 2024/2847 on horizontal cybersecurity requirements for products with digital elements (Cyber Resilience Act). Directive (EU) 2022/2555 on measures for a high common level of cybersecurity across the Union (NIS 2 Directive). Regulation (EU) 2023/2854 on harmonised rules on fair access to and use of data (Data Act).

Communication Activities

The organisation participates in EU-funded projects, industry collaborations, workshops, conferences and innovation initiatives related to autonomous mobility and smart transport systems. It engages in knowledge exchange, technical discussions and dissemination activities within European innovation ecosystems.

Member Of

Autonomous Systems Sp. z o.o. is a member of: - IGKM (Polish Chamber of Urban Mobility) - UITP (International Association of Public Transport) The organisation also participates in selected EIT Urban Mobility initiatives and activities (e.g., events, programmes, project calls and working groups) when relevant to its R&D and deployment work in autonomous mobility. Beyond the standard membership fees for the organisations listed above, the organisation does not sponsor, fund, or provide regular contributions to other entities.

Organisation Members

Autonomous Systems Sp. z o.o. is a private limited company (sp. z o.o.) and therefore does not have “members” in the association sense. It has shareholders. Ownership / linked entities: Autonomous Systems Sp. z o.o. (Poland) is majority-owned by Future Processing Sàrl (Luxembourg). Future Processing Sàrl is ultimately owned by Czaja Foundation (Liechtenstein private foundation). No other affiliated entities are relevant for the purposes of this registration beyond the ownership relationship described above.

Additional Information

We do not have a dedicated budget line for Transparency Register–covered activities. Such activities are occasional and are embedded in general operating costs (mainly staff time spent on policy/technical discussions, participation in EU-related industry events and initiatives, and related travel/fees where applicable).
