EU Legislative Interests
>> Through Horizon Europe (former Horizon 2020 Program), contribution to Research Projects mainly about Security, Quantum, Artificial intelligence and European Data Space. >> Through Charter of Trust, contribution to shaping cybersecurity roadmaps, presents views on how to harmonize the relevant regulations (at EU level but also worldwide) to improve their efficiency and reflects on how AI and Cybersecurity interact. >> Through the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO), contribution to the cybersecurity R&D roadmap of the EU & the advancement of European digital autonomy; and support the protection of the European Digital Single Market with trusted cybersecurity solutions and see also what the EU could improve in the near future (reinitiation since 2023 of its policy taskforces to influence cybersecurity related policies/legislations). Atos is also part of Women4Cyber which contributes to the development of a concrete agenda to meet the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals in Europe (notably through a mentorship program). >> BDVA is mainly influencing EU digital policy and research programs, including: AI and data regulation, EU Artificial Intelligence policy initiatives, development of European data spaces, Research and innovation programs, Horizon Europe and European partnerships in AI, data and robotics. >> GAIA-X is influencing broadly on EUCS (European Cybersecurity Certification Scheme for Cloud Services), Data Act, Data Governance Act, Digital Markets Act, Artificial Intelligence Act. >> 6G Infrastructure Association helps define the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) that guides EU telecom R&D funding, and the association has publicly urged EU policymakers to prioritise telecom connectivity in the next EU Multiannual Financial Framework (FP10). >> Through the European Alliance for Industrial Data Cloud & Edge, influence on future European projects on industrial cloud, industrial data (through different task forces: cyber, architecture, Green Decarbonization and sovereignty) and contribution to the European Technology roadmap of future cloud edge. The goal is to establish recommendations to help the European Commission to build an autonomous sovereign cloud; and support the initiatives from notably DG Connect (European Commission). >> Participation in the innovation and development of European HPC technologies via EuroHPC, ETP4HPC and EA-MHPC, where strategic research agendas and reflections on the future of HPC are developed. >> Contribution through the FIWARE Foundation to Data Spaces and European Standards >> Contribution and influence through QuiC on the EU Quantum Europe Strategy, European Innovation Act, EU Chip Act, and Quantum infrastructure programs. >> Contribution and influence through participation in the Advisory Board of ENISA on NIS2 Directive, Cyber Resilience Act, and EU Cyber Solidarity Act.
Communication Activities
>> Through Charter of Trust, Atos contributed to two submissions: (1) to the EU public consultation on the Cybersecurity Act revision (20 June 2025) and (2) to the EU public consultation on the Digital Omnibus package (14 October 2025). The Munich Security Conference took place on 14 February 2025 (yearly event). A collaboration workshop was organized between NATO and Charter of Trust (27 June 2025) and a Cyber Trust Talk 3.0 – "Digital Omnibus & Trust: What It Means for Business in Europe" took place (20 November 2025). >> Through ECSO, we contributed to the “ECSO’s Strategic Vision: European Cybersecurity 2030” – a forward‑looking policy framework released in November 2025. We participated to the CISO Days. >> Through BDVA, we contributed to the “AI Continent Action Plan”, which are policy recommendations for integrating data and AI strategies in Europe. >> Through 6G Association Infrastructure, we presented SAFE-6G (https://safe-6g.eu/) and PREDICT-6G projects (R&D) in Malaga (Spain) at the EuCNC 2025 & 6G Summit >> https://www.eucnc.eu/. >> https://eviden.com/insights/events/european-identity-and-cloud-conference-2025/ >> Participation through QuiC to (1) Strategy Industry Roadmap 2025 (purpose: align industry and policymakers around a common strategy for Europe’s quantum ecosystem), (2) Position Paper - Recommendations for the EU Quantum Strategy, (3) Position Paper on the European Innovation Act (policy recommendations on how the European Innovation Act should support deep-tech sectors, including quantum), (4) Position Paper on the EU Chips Act (Chips Act 2) and (5) White Paper: "The 28th Regime and Innovative Quantum Companies". >> Participation through ENISA to (1) ENISA Threat Landscape 2025, (2) NIS Inestment 2025, (3) ENISA Sectorial Threat Landscape – Public Administration (2025) and (4) NIS2 Technical Implementation Guidance, and (5) Space Threat Landscape 2025.
