Mission & Goals
ATOBA energy is a midstream Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) aggregator (buyer & reseller) that provides to airlines and jet fuel providers long-term SAF contracts to optimized market pricing index and guaranteed volumes. We manage the SAF supply risk for our airline partners to ensure they are competitive at all times. ATOBA energy supports the SAF producers growth with long term offtake agreements at stable pricing that enable their projects to pass Financial Investment Decisions. ATOBA uniquely enables the closing of offtake agreements among airlines, jet-fuel distributors, SAF producers, and financial institutions, which are essential for scaling the sustainable aviation industry.
EU Legislative Interests
ATOBA Energy engages in activities aimed at advancing the production, distribution, and adoption of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) within the European aviation sector. This includes: Facilitating policies that support long-term SAF offtake agreements between SAF producers and airlines to secure supply stability and reduce carbon emissions. Contributing to policy discussions and providing industry insights on SAF regulation, incentives, and market mechanisms to accelerate aviation’s decarbonization. Collaborating with stakeholders across the SAF value chain, including fuel producers, airlines, regulators, and technology providers, to promote sustainable practices and investment in renewable aviation fuels. Monitoring and advising on EU policies and directives, such as the ReFuelEU Aviation initiative, to align SAF projects with European climate targets. Through these activities, ATOBA Energy aims to support the EU's energy transition goals and contribute to the achievement of net-zero emissions in the aviation industry.
