EU Legislative Interests
Atlantica is monitoring the European hydrogen market very closely with special interest in the current regulatory context (Renewable Energy Directive III, RED III), the perspectives on hydrogen project viability, and the potential of hydrogen blending in natural gas infrastructure to accelerate decarbonization.
Communication Activities
We have been participating in HI West Electrolyser facilities presentation process of candidates for the second Union list of projects of common interest (PCIs) and have been active in the Project presentation PCI/PMI process on 28.04.2025 Regional Group meeting HI West electrolysers presenting a project through a Joint Venture. This matter depends on Directorate General for Energy, Green Transition and Energy System Integration. Unit C4 - Infrastructure and Regional Cooperation.
