Mission & Goals
Atlante is developing the largest fast and ultra-fast charging network in Southern Europe, 100% enabled by renewables, energy storage and vehicle-grid-integrated (VGI). It aims to install in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal 5,000 fast and ultra-fast points of charge by 2025, and over 35,000 by 2030. Operating since October 2021, Atlante has today more than 2,500 charging points online in its four countries with thousands more under construction and development.

Communication Activities
Atlante performs communication & dissemination activites tied to its CEF programme projects (namely Atlante4EU_IT-FR-ES, Atlante4EU_PT, ATLANTE4ALL and AtlanteHIT). In this context, Atlante ensures regular reporting and knowledge sharing through the submission of periodic reports and documentation for the aforementioned projects. Atlante also leads coordinated communication initiatives with other Charge Point Operators (CPOs), i.e. a joint advocacy action (the recent letter addressed to the European Commission highlighting the key challenges faced in the deployment of EV charging infrastructure—most notably delays in grid connections, which can reach up to three years and are outside the control of project promoters). Moreover, Atlante takes part in general EU events with EU institutions, (i.e. European conference on electromobility: “Accelerating the transport transition in Europe” - Brussels – European Parliament Spaak Building – Room 7C050 - February, the 24th 2026, and Take Charge Europe - Strasbourg - European Parliament - Room WEISS N1.1B - January 20th 2026). In addition, Atlante engages in discussions with representatives of the European Commission (e.g. meeting with Commissioner Tzitzikostas’ cabinet, including Mr. Fabregas) and coordination meetings with other major CPOs, aimed at aligning positions and reinforcing common messages towards EU institutions, as reflected in the joint letter submitted to the Commission.
