Mission & Goals
The International Movement ATD Fourth World (All Together in Dignity) is an international non-governmental organisation whose goal is to eradicate extreme poverty and exclusion by developing partnerships between people living in extreme poverty and other individuals and institutions. ATD Fourth World has no political or religious affiliation; its ambition is to promote social change based on human dignity and access to human rights for all. The primary objective of ATD Fourth World is to reach the most excluded people living in poverty and promote their participation in the life of their communities and nations. The approach chosen is to build trust over time, inviting people from different backgrounds to unite in a common effort to combat exclusion and poverty. Projects are initiated and evaluated in collaboration with people experiencing poverty, taking into account their aspirations and capacities.
