Mission & Goals
Rete ONU is the trade association that represents the reuse and second hand sector in Italy. Its members totalize about 13,000 reuse workers, dedicated to retail, wholesale, collection, intermediation, preparation for reuse, organization of flea markets. These workers are employed by a big number of enterprises and social economy organizations. We firmly believe in the strength generated by the plurality of the sector, and with this in mind, since 2010 We make an intense activity of advocacy to bring to the Italian institution proposals that synthetize constructively the different points of view of the sector. We think that the same approach would be the more useful and correct at an European level.

Il Rapporto Nazionale sul Riutilizzo 2024, a cura di Pietro Luppi, è stato realizzato dall’Osservatorio del Riutilizzo di Occhio del Riciclone Italia ONLUS in collaborazione con Rete ONU e Labelab e con il gratuito patrocinio di ISPRA. In questa edizione ad esempio sono riportati i dati riferiti al 2022 del riutilizzo che ISPRA e altre agenzie hanno fornito all’Agenzia Europea per l’Ambiente nel 2023.

Additional Information
All the members of the board support the association with their voluntary work and providing with own resources to finance the activities necessary to achieve the monthly and long-term objectives identified. The fees of the members are used for administrative management, bank expenses and promotion of events, contributions to the creation of sector publications such as the 2024 edition of the National Report on reuse.
