EU Legislative Interests

Associazione Italiana Zincatura, mainly through EGGA (European General Galvanizers Association) is involved in the discussion, development and influence of both legislative and regulatory proposals of the Commission for SMEs, Environmental protection and Green Economy, for instance. Associazione Italiana Zincatura is part of EGGA that cooperates in many fields with IZA (Iternational Zinc Association), Eurometaux and Metals for Buildings and is very active in iteractions with EU Institutions. We follow, for instance, the developments and revisions of EU directives and regulations such as the IED (Industrial Emissions Directive); CPR (Costruction Product Regulation); ETS2 Emisson Trading System 2; NZIA NetZero Industry Act; CBAN Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism and all the EU initiatives that can have an important impact on the industrial sector or on the market of its interest.

Communication Activities

We organize twice a year events connected to our Association Assembly to inform members and other stakeholders of the important discussion and development at EU policy level which can impact on their activities connected to galvanizing.
