Mission & Goals
Italian Consumer Association, recognised as representative at national level and member of the National Consumer Council; member of the BEUC, european consumer organization; Host of ECC-Net Italy. Has over 39.891 members and 166 local offices all over Italy. Committed to responsible consumption, protection of consumers' interests, protection of citizen's fundamental rights, social education; committed to social inclusion, solidarity, equity, sustainable development. Carries out collective and individual consumer protection, social research and awareness raising campaigns.
EU Legislative Interests
As regards areas of interest: Consumer Programme, Green Deal, Digital transformation, Energy transition and decarbonization, Farm to Fork strategy, Deforestation free products, Green mobility, AI and ICT, Privacy Protection, EU Citizenship. As regards specific instruments: Digital Services Act and Digital Fairness act, Citizen's Ombinus and Digital Omnibus, Audiovisual Media Services Directive (AVMSD) Revision, revision of the CPC Regulation, Directive (EU) 2024/825, Directive (EU) 2024/1799 , Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation, revision of the Textile Labelling Regulation and others.
Communication Activities
Several EU funded projects in various fields. The web site has over 3 million visitors a year.
