Mission & Goals
The Association of the Tractor and Trailer Operators – ATTO represent the members of the logistics operators on the Maltese islands connecting the state of Malta to the world. Our members offer road services across Europe to/from Malta. The members fulfil the clients’ request by providing them valuable solutions. The customers base is composed of aviation, fashion, food, pharmaceutical, semiconductors industries. The members are proud to say they carry 70% of their exports/imports to/from Malta. The Association of the Tractor and Trailer Operators – ATTO is officially certified under the registration number LPA 174 – Legal Person; it has satisfied the provisions of the Second Schedule, civil code in the Republic of Malta and has been registered as a Legal Person by the Registrar of Legal Person . Note the ATTO is a recognised VO 2362/24
EU Legislative Interests
• The Mobility Package I, in particular rules on driving and rest times, posting of drivers, and access to the road transport market • The revision of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) Regulation • The Regulation on the deployment of alternative fuels infrastructure (AFIR) • The Euro 7 emissions standards for road vehicles • CO₂ emission performance standards for heavy-duty vehicles • Relevant transport-related measures under the Fit for 55 package, particularly those impacting commercial road transport operators
