Mission & Goals
APANSO (Association of Private ANS Organizations) is an independent, non-profit association representing privately owned providers across the air navigation services ecosystem. Founded to provide a constructive and evidence-based voice in the evolution of aviation, APANSO brings together organizations operating in commercially driven segments of air traffic services and related functions
EU Legislative Interests
- Single European Sky (SES2+) reform - Regulation (EC) No 550/2004 on the provision of air navigation services in the Single European Sky - Regulation (EU) 2019/317 laying down a performance and charging scheme in the Single European Sky - European Air Traffic Management Master Plan - SESAR Deployment Programme - Regulation (EU) 2021/116 on the establishment of the Common Project for air traffic management modernization - EU Aviation Strategy / Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy (only if space allows) -Regulation (EC) No 550/2004 on the provision of air navigation services in the Single European Sky
Communication Activities
Preparation and publication of policy papers and position papers relating to the liberalisation and competitive provision of air navigation services, in particular Terminal Air Navigation Services (T-ANS), within the framework of the Single European Sky (SES). Engagement with European institutions, national authorities, regulators, airports, ANSPs, and other aviation stakeholders through meetings, consultations, workshops, conferences, and digital communication channels. Development of the APANSO website and publication of informational material aimed at supporting evidence-based policy discussion on performance, competition, innovation, and regulatory frameworks in air navigation services.
