Mission & Goals
The Association's aims and goals remain the same today as they were nearly 60 years ago: to promote and protect the worth and standing of its members, to vigorously defend, educate and lobby for the interests and rights of all photographers, especially in the commercial photographic industry. The Association brings professional photographers together and provides a sense of community. We promote the highest levels of achievement and we lobby for our members' interests and those of the professional photographic community at all levels.
EU Legislative Interests
Digital Single Market Strategy, InfoSoc Directive, Copyright Directive Rental & Lending Directive, Resale Right Directive, IPRED, Term Directive, Orphan Works Directive, All EU initiatives and policies concerned with copyright, intellectual property rights and harmonisation thereof.
