Mission & Goals
The field of activity and the aims of the association are to promote cooperation and exchange of information between national organisations for supervision globally with a focus on the various European countries. Further to promote cooperation on a professional level and to exchange information, to develop comparable standards and curricula of education and to adapt professional standards. Further aims are to promote the development of the theoretical basis, methodology, research and teaching for supervision. To shape and foster contacts and the exchange of ideas with national organisations for supervision in non-European countries. To promote supervision on a European level and to attach it to political institutions of the European Union.

Main EU legislative proposals or policies targeted: EU strategic framework on health and safety at work 2021-2027 Occupational safety and health in a changing world of work Communication activities (events, campaigns, publications, etc.) related to the EU policies above: Unser Ziel ist das Interesse insgesamt für die Branchen Coaching und Supervision zu öffnen. Wir würden es begrüssen wenn vor allem im Bereich der Gesundheitsprofylaxe am Arbeitsplatz reflexive Massnahmen, wie wir sie im Coaching und in der Supervision anbieten mit berücksichtigt würden. Aber auch in weiteren gesellschaftspolitischen Bereichen bieten sich reflexive Massnahmen an, die wir professionell vertreten. Supervision ist ein zutiefst demokratisches Mittel und versteht sich als demokratifördernd und gesellschaftspilitisch voranbringend. Wir würden es begrüssen eine Initiative zu einer inter- parteienübergreifenden Arbeitsgruppe einzurichten.
Communication Activities
Our aim is to raise overall awareness and interest in the fields of supervision and coaching. We would welcome it if, particularly in the area of workplace health prevention, reflective practises and measures such as those we provide through supervision and coaching were taken into consideration. At the same time, reflective practises and measures are also relevant in other socio-political contexts, which we represent professionally. Supervision is a profoundly democratic tool and sees itself as fostering democracy as well as contributing to socio-political progress. We would welcome the establishment of an initiative to create a cross-party working group.
