Mission & Goals
The ACB was established in 1969 and is the formal voice of the local banking sector. The ACB is a non-profit organization that represents and promotes the interests of its member banks concerning banking business and practices. The ACB puts forward its members’ views and positions when local legislative and governmental policies are determined. Common positions are formulated on several banking and financial issues, especially in compliance with EU regulations and guidelines. Currently, the ACB, has 10 full members.

Digital Banking and Digital euro, Payment services, AML, Retail and consumer issues (mortgage credit, Payment Accounts Directive, PSD2, PSD3, Banking Supervision and SSM, Financial Education,Cypercrime, Corporate Social Responsibility, Fiscal policies, Training, ESG.
Communication Activities
The Association publishes the Annual Report which includes the major activities of the Association during the year. The events campaign includes lunch breaks and other publicity events with local media and Parliament representatives during the current year. Member staff of the Association publish various articles in the local media concerning important banking and financial issues. POD cast productions are prepared on local banking issues.
