Mission & Goals
To advance the global accounting and finance profession and ensure it contributes to sustainable economies by training strategic and ethically minded professionals
EU Legislative Interests
Our key areas of interest include the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), together with the Omnibus Package revisions; audit matters and challenges facing small and medium-sized accounting practices (SMPs) and SMEs; talent and skills under the EU Union of Skills package and the proposed 28th regime; corporate governance, taxation, and anti-money laundering issues; as well as digitalisation initiatives, particularly the role of artificial intelligence.
Communication Activities
We hold webinars and events for our members and key stakeholders on a broad range of matters affecting the accountancy profession including education, training, impact of AI, regulatory policies and developments. We produce research and insights on a range of relevant topics impacting the profession including on sustainability, AI, skills & talent, corporate governance and fraud.
