Mission & Goals

ABB establishes interaction and mutual assistance among commercial banks, coordinates members’ interests, and protects their rights before state authorities, public organizations, and other entities. It prepares substantiated opinions on draft regulations governing banking, submits proposals to competent authorities on key issues, and takes measures to prevent unfair competition. It develops an information system for legal, economic, and technical data, supports staff training through business meetings, symposia, and conferences at home and abroad, maintains representative contacts with foreign and international bodies, promotes the adoption of modern banking techniques and technologies, and, when necessary, establishes specialized structures, units, and working groups.
