Communication Activities

-Promote education in emergency situations in contexts of forced displacement and humanitarian crises, with particular attention to women, youth, and vulnerable populations. -Foster the leadership of young peace builders, and women leaders, to promote participation in democratic processes, collaborative initiatives for non-violence, and social cohesion. -Empower civil society organizations, help them set their own goals and provide them with the means to support and advance progress based on equality, inclusion, and sustainable development. -Developing and implementing strategies for the defense of human rights by improving the articulation between Tamil civil society organizations and the respective European strategic actors. -Implementing procedures for monitoring and documenting human rights violations aimed at strengthening the capacity of strategic actors to conduct investigations and disseminate their findings internationally. -Coordinate advocacy visits to European institutions. By preparing public affairs strategies together with technical and political advice aimed at improving their actions in the public sphere, we aim to enhance our members’ aspirations for a better world. -Organizing communication campaigns, publications, and socio-cultural events aimed at raising awareness of the human rights situation in Tamil Homeland, gender equality, persons in situations of forced mobility, and EU policies. - Diffusion d'un bulletin d'information sur les droits des femmes sur internet depuis plus de 10 ans - we follows the EU Action Plan on Human Rights and all public relations and communication of the EU on women as well as the Global Human Rights Sanction Regime. - Advocacy on visa for human rights defenders, - Advocacy on human rights defenders situations, - Meetings and events with EU representatives on human Rights situation - Publications and campaigns against war crimes, crimes against humanity, - Diffusion of information about human rights situation to European policy-makers. - Participation to public debates, conferences, hearings taking place in particular at the European parliament. - Provide information to the EEAS in particular vis-à-vis Human Rights dialogues.
