Mission & Goals
AFCOME is a professional organisation for plant nutrition. We bring together the majority of agricultural supply companies, cooperatives and private compagnies, distributing fertilisers to farmers and manufacturing blended fertilisers, in France. Our main missions are to: - Represent and defend the interests of distribution and blended fertilisers with regulatory bodies in France and Europe. - Develop compliance, structure practices and improve the skills of AFCOME members through regulatory control, product quality control, and expertise in terms of job skills. - Communicating, informing, raising awareness of its members and explaining regulations. - Promoting plant nutrition that respects the environment.

Member Of
AFCOME is a member of ANPEA (Association Nationale Professionnelle pour les Engrais et Amendements) which hosts the french standardisation body on fertilisers and growing media (BN Ferti). AFCOME is a also a member of the EFBA (European Fertiliser Blenders Association) and IFA (the International Fertilizers Industry Association).
Organisation Members
AFCOME represents about 80% of the mineral/inorganic fertilisers distributed in France which represents 5.7 million tons of fertilisers and around 450 000 tons of blended fertilisers. AFCOME counts 28 members throughout France, composed of cooperatives, groups of cooperatives, agricultural trading companies and private companies involved in the distribution of fertilisers and in the manufacture of blended fertilisers.
