Mission & Goals
Representation of the association members in the area of agriculture policy, innovation policy and sustainable rural development.
EU Legislative Interests
Common agriculture policy and its reform. Financial perspective. Innovation policy of the EU, including research/development with a link to the agricultural sector. Regulations, proposals and communications of - Rules and financial support for CAP Strategic Plans - Financing, managing and monitoring rules. - Unfair business-to-business trading practices - Common organisation of agricultural markets in the EU - Future of the common agricultural policy - Rules for direct EU payments to farmers - Support for Rural Development - Food quality certification schemes - Production and labelling of organic products - Ensuring Sustainable use of pesticides in the EU - State aid – agricultural and forestry sectors - Application of certain EU competition rules to agricultural products - Fighting water pollution from agricultural nitrates - Safe and effective fertilising products on the EU market and all related regulations.

AIF does not perform any opinion polls and surveys relate to EU legislation, open letters and other communication or information material, campaigns, projects, events, publications or position papers.
