Mission & Goals
ADC3R is a french national association created in 2013 and representing distributors, fillers, waste pickers and refrigerant reprocessors. The primary goal of the ADC3R is to engage in efforts to limit CO2 impacts in the implementation of refrigerants, in the spirit of the Paris Agreement - COP21. It particularly aims encouraging the recovery, treatment and reclamation of refrigerants as well as promoting any action related to the limitation of CO2 emissions linked to the activities of our members. To do this, it acts for promoting responsible and professional practices among all those in the sector. Finally, it carries out and commissions studies or consultations in the framework of the association's missions. ADC3R and/or its members are also affiliated to other associations or unions related to the cooling and air conditioning industry, such as AFCE, AFF, SNEFCCA for instance. The founding companies are individual members.
EU Legislative Interests
ADC3R follows EU laws and initiatives related to F-gases, energy efficiency, climate change, sustainable finance and market surveillance, among others. Other policies linked to chemicals are also monitored. In particular ADC3R follows the works on the following EU legislative proposals or policies: - F-gas Regulation - Waste Framework Directive - Industrial Accelerator Act - Circular Economy Act - Clean Industrial Deal - ESPR - REACH and CLP regulations - Taxonomy regulation and its delegated acts - ETS 2 directive. Communication Activities
ADC3R aims to inform, exchange and better understand the state of play of policies in the EU. ADC3R as an association representing distributors, fillers, waste pickers and refrigerant reprocessors shares its opinion on the relevant policies mentioned above. From that perspective, keeping contact with policy makers is crucial to let them regularly aware of the impact of the EU policies on our sector.
