Mission & Goals
It is the mission of ACA to promote the interests of the Luxembourg Insurance and Reinsurance sector and update members on developments taking place at the EU level.
EU Legislative Interests
Prudential, consumer protection, conduct of business, financial stability, sustainability, digital. In particular the following legislative proposals: - Retail Investment Strategy (RIS) - Insurance recovery and resolution directive (IRRD) - Omnibus on Corporate Sustainability proposal - Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation - Financial Data Access proposal (FiDA aka Open Finance) - Saving and Investment Union Discussion - Pension Package (PEPP, IORPs) We were also active on advocating against barriers identified in the Internal Market in the context of freedom to provide services.
