Mission & Goals
For the Tășuleasa Social Association, the most important values are volunteering, showing respect towards nature, educating youth by means of practical examples and developing a sense of civic courage among communities by involving its members in social and environmental issues. We believe in volunteering, team spirit, responsibility, and solidarity. We are confident that we plant more than trees, we plant ideas. Our vision is that one day, all those people who volunteered for Tăşuleasa Social at least once, would go on to have a changed outlook on life and be brave enough to voice their opinions and turn Romania into a country where rules are not made to be broken. We chose our projects according to the needs of the communities around us, as we perceived them at different times, and we acted wherever necessary. Our latest project, Via Transilvanica, the first, 1400 km-long, distance trail dedicated to hiking, biking and horseback riding. It is the road unites.
