Mission & Goals
ASDPI is a Romanian private law entity, established in 2004 by well known academia representatives, non-governmental, apolitical, without patrimonial purpose. ASDPI is the only private association in Romania in the field of intellectual property scientific research. It is a founding member of the institutionalized working group on intellectual property issues established in Romania and currently working under the patronage of the Romanian Government General Secretary. This group is part of the EU Observatory network - https://www.euipo.europa.eu/en/observatory/about-us/network. ASDPI is since 2021 a member of the International Literary Artistic Association - ALAI, founded by Victor Hugo in 1878 and a founding member of the Romanian Chapter of ALAI, along with other 34 national chapters. ASDPI issues quarterly since 2004 the Romanian Intellectual Property Law Review (RRDPI), in addition to publishing specialized academic works, organizing conferences and participating in such.
