Mission & Goals

The Youth Platform for Sustainability (PTS) is an independent, youth-led national initiative bringing together over 2,000 active members aged 16–35 from all regions of Romania. Its mission is to ensure the meaningful and informed participation of young people in the green transition and sustainable governance processes—locally, nationally, and internationally. Main areas of work include: 1. Public consultations and participatory processes across cities and transition regions, with a focus on engaging young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. 2. Capacity building in green and digital skills through trainings, workshops, and pilot programs. 3. Creation of accessible educational content, articles, guides, and explainers on sustainability and digital transformation. 4. Connecting youth with public institutions, the private sector, and international organizations to co-develop solutions with local impact.
