Mission & Goals
ASSOCIATION INSTITUTE FOR ACTIVE AGING is a private legal entity, without patrimonial purpose, which aims at the sustainable development of society, the promotion of civic and social values through the aging of the population. ASSOCIATION INSTITUTE FOR ACTIVE AGING contributes to achieving an optimal level of health, a longer duration and a productive life of the elderly population, by organizing programs and projects that support them, by increasing psychological comfort, by involving in activities that are emotional, scientific, cultural-educational, cultural-religious and socio-cultural in nature, by volunteering, by developing an attitude of mutual help among peers.

Communication Activities
Participation in EU-level conferences, stakeholder consultations and policy discussions related to active and healthy ageing, social inclusion, public health, digital inclusion and lifelong learning for older adults. Exchange of expertise and best practices with representatives of EU institutions, participation in projects and networks funded by EU programmes, contribution to discussions concerning the implementation of EU social and health policies, and dissemination of information regarding relevant European initiatives among civil society stakeholders and beneficiaries.
