Mission & Goals
Asociatia GEYC (Group of the European Youth for Change) is a Romanian non-profit organisation working to empower young people through civic engagement, digital citizenship, non-formal education, and democratic participation. The organisation supports young people in developing the knowledge, skills, and opportunities needed to actively participate in society and contribute to sustainable and democratic communities. GEYC’s work focuses on youth participation, media and digital literacy, social innovation, sustainability, and European citizenship, with a strong emphasis on inclusion and access to opportunities for young people from diverse backgrounds. The organisation also coordinates the PRISMA European Network, supporting cooperation between civil society organisations across Europe in the fields of digital democracy, civic participation, and youth empowerment.

Communication Activities
GEYC and the PRISMA European Network have organised and contributed to multiple communication and stakeholder engagement activities connected to EU democracy, youth participation, digital citizenship, and education policies. This includes participation in discussions at the European Parliament on democratic resilience and EU budget priorities, dissemination activities on EU-LAC cooperation in youth and education, and structured dialogue events between young people and policymakers on participation and digital democracy. Activities included public events, policy dialogue sessions, dissemination campaigns, online publications, and contributions to European civil society discussions related to the European Democracy Action Plan, EU Youth Strategy, and Digital Education Action Plan.
