Mission & Goals

eLiberare is a Romanian organization focused on preventing human trafficking & sexual exploitation. Our goal is to equip people to prevent human trafficking in their own communities. Our priorities are four-fold: 1. PREVENTION EDUCATION: We raise awareness among relevant stakeholders and the public about the realities and warning signs of trafficking. 2. PROACTIVE IDENTIFICATION: We build capacity through targeted training to help frontline workers identify and refer potential trafficking cases to the proper authorities, using a victim-centred approach. 3. ASSISTANCE & SURVIVOR ENGAGEMENT: We support state, private shelters and transition homes that aid in survivor recovery and reintegration, while promoting meaningful involvement of survivors in shaping policy, programs, and evaluation processes. 4. STRENGTHENING ECOSYSTEMS: We work to improve anti-trafficking legislation and policy at national, regional, and international levels to create a more coordinated and effective response.
