Mission & Goals
Its objective is the representation, management, defense and promotion of the interests of its members, covering its scope of action throughout the entire Spanish territory, and the corresponding international bodies, integrating in its census companies that make more than 80% of the vermouth that is marketed in Spain.
EU Legislative Interests
The most relevant issues that are dealt with by the ANEV are those referring to the technical-sanitary regulations for the production of flavored wines, mainly vermouth, and all those provisions that may affect, in any way, the production and trade of these. products, at regional, national and international level: Base wine and other ingredients Oenological practices and treatments Packaging (ranges and packaging materials) Sale (regulations and business practices) Taxation, specifically the indirect one (Special Taxes and VAT) Advertising, promotion and any other form of commercial communication Social aspects of the consumption of alcoholic beverages
