Mission & Goals
ASAJA se constituye para la representación, gestión, defensa y fomento de los intereses profesionales del sector agrario en general y de sus organizaciones miembro con plena personalidad jurídica y sujeta a principios estrictamente democráticos. Su objetivo es la defensa de las explotaciones familiares y empresas agrarias bajo cualquier forma de iniciativa privada, y su desarrollo como actividad económica viable, buscando la mejora de las condiciones de acceso de los jóvenes al ejercicio de la actividad, su capacitación y formación profesional y en general defendiendo tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, la competitividad del sector agropecuario español (incluye actividades agrícolas, ganaderas, de aprovechamiento forestal, de gestión medioambiental y agroturismo). ASAJA cuenta con una sede nacional, 15 centros regionales, 40 oficinas provinciales y 810 oficinas locales, y una oficina de representación permanente en Bruselas.

ASAJA informa puntualmente a todas sus Asociaciones Regionales, Provinciales y Sectoriales a través de informes técnicos y publicaciones periódicas, tanto de información general (Revista Nacional de ASAJA), como especializadas.

Member Of
ASAJA desarrolla su actividad en el ámbito nacional y cada vez con mayor intensidad en el internacional, especialmente en los foros comunitarios. Como Organización Profesional Agraria participa en todas las mesas de negociación con la administración española y con la industria agroalimentaria en representación de los agricultores y ganaderos (Asociaciones y Acuerdos Interprofesionales, Consejos Reguladores, Confederaciones Hidrográficas, Cámaras Agrarias, Convenios Colectivos, Consejo Asesor del Medio Ambiente, etc). Por otra parte ASAJA representa a los profesionales agropecuarios en todos aquellos foros en donde el sector agrario y su problemática esté directa o indirectamente afectado (C.E.S. y CEOE). El objetivo de representación de ASAJA se complementa con su pertenencia de pleno derecho al Comité de Organizaciones Agrarias de la U.E. (COPA), participando activamente en todas sus reuniones de Praesidium, Expertos Generales, y Grupos de Trabajo, sectoriales y horizontales, preparatorios de los Comités Consultivos Agrarios de la Comisión Europea. Asimismo ASAJA es miembro del Grupo de Empleadores Agrarios (GEOPA), del Consejo Europeo de la Agricultura (CEA) y del Comité Económico y Social (C.E.S.). Como organización de Jóvenes Agricultores, ASAJA pertenece al Consejo Europeo de Jóvenes Agricultores (CEJA).Igualmente ASAJA forma parte del Programa Europeo de Intercambios Agrarios entre Jóvenes Agricultores (P.E.J.A.).
