Mission & Goals
ASL19 is a Canada-based organization that tackles the most pressing information challenges around the world, including censorship, disinformation, and other forms of digital repression. Established in 2012, ASL19 develops technologies and leads research initiatives that help people in the most restrictive information environments hold decision-makers accountable and achieve civil society goals. Our work focuses on five main areas: Access to Information Information Manipulation Open Information and Government Accountability Information Technology for Social Good Capacity & Community Building
