Mission & Goals
The Arctic Youth Network provides a platform that connects young change-makers from different backgrounds and enables them to build their leadership capacity. The AYN amplifies youth voices to address Arctic issues through learning, collaboration, and action.
EU Legislative Interests
- Common fisheries policies (as they apply to Arctic states) - Common foreign and security policies (as they apply to Arctic states) - Human rights and Indigenous peoples rights legislation (as they apply to Arctic peoples)
Communication Activities
- regular publications on our website - hosting of (online) consultations and events with stakeholders in Arctic governance

We are currently involved in the Youth Together for Arctic Futures Project (https://www.arcticwwf.org/our-priorities/arctic-youth/youth-together-for-arctic-futures/). Our partners are: WWF GAP, European Youth Parliament (Schwarzkopf-Stiftung Junges Europa) and its Norway Alumni Association, Saami Council, Arctic Mayors’ Forum, Tromsø Municipality, University of Tromsø, Association of Polar Early Career Scientists
