Mission & Goals
Arciragazzi is a national educational organisation promoting social welfare. It is secular and non-profit, relying heavily on the personal and voluntary commitment of its members to achieve its social solidarity goals. The resulting actions have mainly educational, training and prevention objectives aimed at addressing various social challenges: they are directly or indirectly aimed at improving the environmental, social and cultural living conditions of children and young people, regardless of their being members of the Association. Arciragazzi is organised at national, regional and local level in order to involve children, teenagers, young people, adults and the elderly in experiences of active citizenship, cultural initiatives and policy development aimed at the full recognition of minors as subjects of law (UN Convention on the Rights of the Child - CRC) and at improving their quality of life.

Communication Activities
After the reestablishment of the Intergroup on Children's Rights in late 2024, we intend to carry out a few advocacy-related activities to ensure that children's rights remain a priority in our elected decision makers. More specifically, we intend to take part in online and in-person advocacy campaigns and events (mostly together with other civil society actors, both formal and informal networks), to advocate for children and young people and to safeguard and promote the rights included in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child - which has been ratified by all EU Member States. We intend to reach out and meet MEPs, advisors and consultants to share any relevant research and subsequent recommendation we may have, and whenever possible we intend to do so together with NGOs and CSOs we are already collaborating with.

Additional Information
Our contributors are our affiliated clubs all across the country, as well as some spontaneous private donors. All contributions are very limited, so we can confirm that no contribution amounts to at least 10% of our annual budget, nor to €10.000.
