Mission & Goals
AACO's Mission To serve the Arab airlines, represent their common interests, and facilitate, in a manner consistent with all applicable competition and other laws, their cooperation so as to improve their operational efficiencies and better serve the travelling public.
EU Legislative Interests
regulatory, safety, security, climate change, standard setting and anything that impacts civil aviation. AACO being the representative and the advocacy voice of the Arab airlines, the regulations and directives of the European Union affect the Arab airlines due to having the operations to the EU as one of the largest concentration of those operations. Accordingly, AACO wishes to have access to the policy making of the EU in the above areas while the phase of formulation and to be able to address them with the EU institutions after those regulations are issued.
Communication Activities
AACO holds a number of events ranging from its Annual General Assembly, specialized meetings and forums and workshops in its areas of competency. On many occasions, the EU's policies are addressed amongst our member airlines and sometimes with EU officials themselves.

Organisation Members
Currently, the Arab Air Carriers' Organization gathers 38 member airlines whose home base is in states that are members in the League of Arab States. Those include the International Civil Aviation Organization, the International Air Transport Association, the European Commission (Mainly DG-MOVE and DG-Clima), other regional associations for airlines in the EU, the USA, the Asia Pacific, and Africa, and civil aviation authorities.
