Mission & Goals
The AQUA ! association, launched on the 15th of December 2023 in France, is dedicated to the study, protection and promotion of water heritage. With a European dimension, it is open to citizens, associations, local and public stakeholders, experts and scientists. It focuses in particular on "hybrid" hydrosystems, notably hydraulic structures and all their appendages (ponds, swamps, water bodies, reservoirs, lakes, canals, diversion bays, managed rivers, etc.), their conception, management, landscapes, uses and the socio-economic life that surrounds them, through various actions: • advocacy / publications; • training / coaching; • collaborative projects ; • mapping and data analysis ; • toolkits on mediation and consultation; • communication and territorial animation
