Mission & Goals
APS Bank is one of the oldest banks on the Maltese Islands and is a leading provider of financial services, offering personal, business and investments solutions. APS is licensed as an investment services firm, registered as a Tied Insurance Intermediary. Sustainability is one of the Bank's CSR Pillars of which the Malta Sustainability Forum (MSF) was born. The main objective of MSF is to raise awareness on the topic of sustainability, with the aim of empowering citizens to make conscious decisions towards a more sustainable life. Based on the success of the previous editions, this year MSF will be delivered as a series of afternoon events, online or hybrid as the circumstances permit. MSF is organised by APS Bank as sustainability lies at the heart of the Bank’s values, underpins its business strategy and is a core pillar of its Corporate Social Responsibility Programme. EU Legislative Interests
MSF topics are all derived from the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (https://sdgs.un.org/goals). The schema we follow for each MSF is as follows: - Identify & refence UN SDGs - Local-Global: What's happening in Malta, EU states and similar island states? - Individual - Business: What can I do as a citizen? - What can we do as business owners? Each event is delivered within a positive framework, focusing on what can be done, rather than focusing just on the issues. So as such, our main target is o raise awareness on sustainability, hence any EU legislative proposal or policies around sustainability are targeted.
